Preparing Website Content

Do you need to prepare copy for your website and don’t know where to start?  No worries – we’ve put together some helpful notes to guide you through the process.

Here they are:

Use your resources. If you have existing print material (or are simply rewriting your website), then capture what’s already been created.

Create an outline. This will help keep you organized and get you started in a good direction.  When the website is created, this type of information will also carry over and make later steps smooth and simple.

Choosing the Right Domain

There are a few things to consider in picking a domain name.  The first would have to be availability.  The internet has been around for a while and the odds are that someone has already thought of the name you want.  Start by brainstorming your options using some of the suggestions below.  Then you can see which ones are available and make further decisions or adjustments that are needed from there.
